About Me

The mountains have been part of my life for more than 30 years, climbing and hiking have kept me active, challenged me, and shaped the way I approach health and fitness. Rock climbing has been my main passion for many years taking me to many destinations in the world as well as enjoying the many crags in the Bow Valley. I have been sport climbing 5.12-5.13 for many years and now in my 50’s I am still working towards getting better every year.

Over the past 15 years, strength training has become an increasingly important part of my own routine. I have experienced firsthand how building strength can help us reduce the risk of injury or at least continue to stay active despite them, move with greater confidence, and continue doing the activities we love as we age. I have also worked with trainers and coaches throughout my own fitness journey, so I understand the value of having knowledgeable guidance, a well-designed program, and someone supporting you along the way.

My goal is to maintain the strength and fitness I need to keep pursuing new challenges and enjoying mountain life for many years to come—and I want to help others do the same.

My approach is to meet each person where they are. Together, we create a realistic and individualized program that fits your lifestyle, supports your goals, and works with any injuries, chronic pain, or other limitations you may be managing. Whether you want to hike farther, climb stronger, ski longer, or simply feel more capable in everyday life, I’ll help you build a strong foundation for an active future.
